Samuel Lloyd Strong died December 26. He was the son of Robert and Julia Strong and was born near Catlin, August 22, 1882. He was a brother of Mrs. John Roach, Mrs. Edward Heslar and Mrs. Ellsworth Phillips. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held at the Guion Church at half past one on Sunday afternoon, Rev. G. D. Prentice in charge. Interment at the Barnes Cemetery. -- kbz
